Starting a Blog for Profit – Part 1
There are two common ways that entrepreneurs use to make money blogging. The first and most common way to turn a blog into a profit making machine is to sell advertising to different companies and brands who want to reach that blog’s readers. The second kind of money making blog is one that helps a single brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. Both kinds of blogs can make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a keen mind for marketing.

Why register a domain?
A domain is a name that identifies IP addresses on the internet. The domain name Yahoo.com represents about fifteen (15) IP addresses. Domain names are used to identify Web pages. Use common sense when choosing a domain name because your domain name, or URL, can have an impact in both the online and offline marketing of your blog. Long or difficult to spell domain names can make people ignore your web site and it has to be pretty good for them to stick with it. Keep trying names until you find one that is available.
